- Jerry speaks and consults nationally and internationally in the area of his specialty, "Clinical Biochemistry of Domestic Animals". He is board certified in Clinical Pathology by the American College of Veterinary Pathology and is a member of numerous scientific organizations including the American Association for Clinical Chemistry, the Internatonal Society for Animal Clinical Biochemistry, the American College of Veterinary Pathology, the American Society for Veterinary Clinical Pathology and the American Physiological Society.
- In his research and teaching career, he has published more than 200 papers. He has won numerous awards and prizes for outstanding contributions to his field.
- His book, "Clinical Biochemistry of Domestic Animals" is now being revised to the 6th edition with Jerry serving as the senior editor.
